Private Jet to Ibiza: What It Costs in 2026

London to Ibiza one-way: about EUR 10,500 in a Phenom 300, EUR 17,100 in a Citation XLS, EUR 28,300 in a Legacy 600. Why five brokers quote five different prices.

By Ofek ShakedLast verified November 2, 2026Our methodology

The short answer

A private jet from London to Ibiza costs about EUR 10,500 one-way in a light jet, EUR 17,100 in a super light jet such as a Citation XLS, and EUR 28,300 in a heavy jet, on the brokers' own October 2026 route tables. The same flight is quoted up to 76 percent apart because positioning, taxes and airport fees are handled differently.

Questions people ask before buying

How much does a private jet to Ibiza cost?
From London, about EUR 10,500 one-way in a light jet such as a Phenom 300, EUR 17,100 in a super light Citation XLS, and EUR 28,300 in a 13-seat Legacy 600, according to brokers' published route tables in October 2026. From Barcelona, published quotes range from GBP 5,000 to GBP 15,000.
Why do different sites quote such different prices?
Whether positioning (the empty ferry leg) is included, which aircraft class sits under a generic label, whether airport fees and UK Air Passenger Duty are inside the number, and how far ahead the quote assumes you book. For the same London-Ibiza light jet, published prices differ by roughly 76 percent.
Is it cheaper to fly private to Ibiza one-way or return?
A return usually costs less per sector than two one-ways, because one of the two empty ferry legs disappears. The exception is an empty leg in the direction you want to travel, which can be a large discount on a one-way.
How long is the flight from London to Ibiza by private jet?
About 1 hour 30 minutes airborne, and 1 hour 42 minutes to 2 hours 25 minutes of block time depending on the aircraft and the London airport, over roughly 562 nautical miles (1,041 km).
Can I take a private jet to Ibiza in August?
Yes, and it is the busiest month. Ibiza handles more than 30 private jet landings a day in July and August according to PrivateFly, parking is the constrained resource, and quotes in constrained periods run more than 20 percent above comparable non-event dates.

A private jet from London to Ibiza costs roughly EUR 10,500 one-way in a light jet (Phenom 300, six seats) and EUR 17,100 in a super light jet (Citation XLS, eight seats) on the two brokers that publish aircraft-level prices, with a heavy jet at about EUR 28,300. From Barcelona the same island hop is GBP 5,000 to GBP 15,000 depending on aircraft. The number you see quoted online varies by a factor of nearly two for the identical flight, because brokers quote on different bases and almost none of them say which.

This page puts the published numbers side by side, names the source and date of each, shows the arithmetic behind them, and sets out what to ask for so that two quotes are actually comparable.

What brokers publish for the same flight

All figures below are one-way, whole aircraft, London to Ibiza, as published by the broker named. They are not our estimates and we have not adjusted them.

evoJets, Ibiza destination page"USD 6,000 to USD 17,500" across all aircraft and routes--

Read the light-jet row across and the disagreement is the story. EUR 10,500 and GBP 13,250 are the same flight in the same class. At the reference rate LunaJets used for its own October table (1 EUR = 0.84645 GBP), EUR 10,500 is about GBP 8,890, and GBP 13,250 is about EUR 15,650 — a spread of roughly 76 percent. evoJets' own two pages disagree with each other: its route page starts at USD 10,300 for a light jet, while its destination page advertises "from USD 6,000" for the island as a whole.

None of those pages is lying. They are quoting different things, and the difference is worth understanding before you compare them.

The arithmetic behind a quote

London to Ibiza is about 562 nautical miles (1,041 km). A light or midsize jet cruises at roughly 400 to 450 knots, so the airborne time is about 1 hour 20 to 1 hour 30, and the block time on a route page (1h42 for a Citation CJ3 per evoJets, 2h25 for a Citation XLS per LunaJets) includes taxi, departure routing and approach.

The quote is built in four lines:

  1. Aircraft and crew, charged on block time. At the published hourly bands — USD 4,800 for a light jet, USD 6,000 for a midsize, USD 9,500 for a heavy, per jetvega's class hourly bands on this 562 nm sector — 1.7 hours of block time is about USD 8,200, USD 10,200 and USD 16,150 respectively. That is the core of the price.
  2. Positioning. If the aircraft is not already in London, it flies empty to reach you. Some brokers fold that into the one-way price, some quote the return ferry separately, some absorb it because the jet is based at Farnborough or Luton. This single line explains most of the variance above.
  3. Airport fees. Landing, handling, slots and parking at both ends. Ibiza is a constrained airport in summer, and parking is the scarce item rather than the runway.
  4. Taxes. UK Air Passenger Duty applies to departures from the UK and is banded by aircraft weight and destination; Spanish-side charges appear as handling. A quote should say whether APD is inside the number or added at contract.

An empty leg in the other direction can undercut all of it, which is why the empty-leg market works the way it does and why a one-way price and a return price per sector are not the same product.

Departure city changes the price more than the aircraft does

The Barcelona row is the useful calibration: an hour in a light jet is a fundamentally cheaper product than two hours in a super light jet, and the published range reflects it. If a quote for a short sector comes back at a long-sector price, ask what aircraft was actually proposed.

Why the same Friday in August costs more

Two published facts explain the seasonal step. PrivateFly reports that Ibiza sees more than 30 private jet landings a day in July and August, and Global Charter reports that in constrained periods around events, quotes come in more than 20 percent above comparable non-event dates. Ibiza's calendar is dense: the May openings, the International Music Summit, the September closings, and every ordinary summer weekend in between.

That produces three practical effects. Aircraft based in London get committed early, so the remaining available jets are the ones that must be ferried in. Parking at IBZ becomes the constraint, so an operator may price a same-day turnaround rather than an overnight. And a Friday arrival with a Sunday departure is two peak movements, not one.

If your dates are fixed, the single biggest lever is booking far enough ahead that a based aircraft is still available. If they are not fixed, Tuesday to Thursday in June or September is a different market.

How to make two quotes comparable

Ask every broker the same six questions and the numbers stop contradicting each other:

  1. Is this one-way including positioning, or plus ferry? The answer changes the price by more than the aircraft class does.
  2. Block time and aircraft type, not just "light jet". A Citation CJ3 and a Phenom 300 are both light jets and are not the same charter.
  3. Are landing, handling, slots and parking included at both ends?
  4. Is Air Passenger Duty included, and at which band?
  5. What is the cancellation and aircraft-substitution clause? A cheap quote on an aircraft that can be swapped is a different product.
  6. What is the operator's certificate and safety rating? The safety-rating question is worth asking properly.

Check a live number before you ask for quotes

Published tables age. The route-level estimator on this site pulls indicative one-way pricing for London-Ibiza live, by cabin category, so you can see today's ranges before you talk to anyone: London to Ibiza private jet cost.

If you are travelling to a specific London airport rather than "London", the Farnborough to Ibiza guide covers slot timing, luggage and the weekend constraints that apply at that end. And if the comparison you are actually making is private charter against a first-class ticket for a group, the per-seat arithmetic is here.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a private jet to Ibiza cost?

From London, about EUR 10,500 one-way in a light jet such as a Phenom 300, EUR 17,100 in a super light Citation XLS, and EUR 28,300 in a 13-seat Legacy 600, according to the brokers' own published route tables in October 2026. From Barcelona, published quotes range from GBP 5,000 to GBP 15,000 for the one-hour hop.

Why do different sites quote such different prices?

Four reasons: whether positioning (the empty ferry leg) is included, which aircraft class is being quoted under a generic label, whether airport fees and UK Air Passenger Duty are inside the number, and how far ahead the quote assumes you book. For the same London-Ibiza light jet, published prices differ by roughly 76 percent once converted to one currency.

Is it cheaper to fly private to Ibiza one-way or return?

A return usually costs less per sector than two one-ways, because one of the two empty ferry legs disappears. The exception is an empty leg in the direction you want to travel, which can be a large discount on a one-way and is worth checking before you book a return.

How long is the flight from London to Ibiza by private jet?
